#8 Range Brewing - 4: BA Morning Tuxedo (Barrel Aged Imperial Stout)

BA Morning Tuxedo is a mashup of our two most beloved stouts in Morning Ritual and Canadian Tuxedo. For this special occasion we have combined the two recipes and then blended through Imperial Stout that has spent one year in Heaven Hill and Makers Mark bourbon barrels. The resulting beer is a 10.5% barrel-aged stout with toasted coconut, Tahitian vanilla beans, maple syrup, cinnamon and milk sugar. What you can expect is an extremely silky dessert treat that is reminiscent of fresh squishy lamingtons, Tim Horton's maple dip donuts and cinnamon crullers. On the nose we get hit with complex notes of oak, vanilla and sweet bourbon that quickly switch to a chocolate coconut swirl. The mouthfeel is absolute silk and glides softly through allowing an intense selection of flavours and complex barrel notes to truly layer your palate. The finish is full of decadent coconut and chocolate notes that get better with every sip.
