A peak behind the curtain here is the idea of a Nelson single hop West Coast IPA was the original inspiration for this series, so this rendition was a must sooner rather than later. We've layered Nelson Sauvin and Nelson Sauvin Cryo on a malt bed of Gladfield Lager Light malt from NZ, for a super clear, fluorescent yellow hue colour, with a perfect white foam. On the nose, that classic Nelson dank takes centre stage, followed by white grape and fresh gooseberries. Take a sip and those same classic nelson flavours burst through, along with Bright and vibrant orange citrus, pink grapefruit, and sauvignon blanc all coming through with every sip. The finish is ultra clean and has a beautifully balanced hop bitterness and fruity kick.
