Spontaneously fermented cherry mead.

Made with cherry blossom honey and hand-selected Fanal and Stevnsbær cherries - all from the same orchard. Only the ripest, best-tasting cherries were chosen for this mead... one by one, by hand.

This is one of the most meticulous and special creations to come out of Marlobobo so far. Here's why:
- The cherry blossom honey was harvested from the very trees that bore the cherries used in this mead - a true single-orchard mead.
- Each cherry was individually hand-picked for flavor and ripeness. (It takes one person an hour to sort through just 5 kg. We used 341 kg.)
- The mead was spontaneously fermented slowly for four months, and only free-run juice was collected - no pressing. This gives a very low yield, but the highest possible quality.

We named it Sandviken Select in honor of a remarkable person, a dear friend, and our favorite beekeeper, Geir Juliussen, who passed away far too soon.
