Rituals is the fifth release of our Barrel-aged Stout program and this year we've taken inspiration from our flagship Pastry Stout, Morning Ritual. Rituals III blends Rum & Bourbon Barrel-aged Stout from Walrus Distilling Rum and Wild Turkey Whiskey Barrels, our Morning Ritual additions of Coconut and Vanilla, and then we've added an extra addition of Coffee from Coffee Supreme. We've soaked whole beans of Supreme's South blend to bring through notes of caramel and praline, which pair perfectly with the the coconut and vanilla additions. The barrel notes coming through bring notes of rich raisin and vanilla oak, which, when paired with the coffee and coconut provides a decadent blend of luxurious flavours that are eternally palate coating. This iteration provides an elevated level of roast, perfectly atune to what you would expect from such a beer being blended with freshly roasted coffee.
