Moni is a balancing point. Pinot vines at Basket Range, a 25 year old vineyard we have been working to recover, old yet neglected, making a new start in life, old clones, zero chemicals, life, hard work and beautiful friends. Hand pick, some whole bunch, gentle hand plunged, light early press and late press, mostly barrelled, looking for lightness yet needing structure. Tension – resolution.
