Not your usual Australian Riesling. Aiming for refreshment, but also grip and structure. Winemaking without refrigeration, added acid, fining or filters but with natural, full solids ferment, pressings and lees, to express the truth in the whole grape. Bottled after 2 winters. Hope Forest’s cool elevation and gravelly, ironstone and quartz silts gives Scarp the pear skin, apricot kernel and grapefruit pith of the skin and the limey citrus juice we all know and love in Riesling.
