When The Fog Clears is our very first West Coast Triple IPA here at Range. We turned the dial all the way up on this absolute whopper of a Westy. It features an insane hop bill with some of the all time classics - Simcoe, Mosaic Incognito, Krush Hyperboost, Nelson Sauvin. The malt bill is modern and light, pouring a crystal clear shade of light yellow in the glass, with a whippy white foam. On the nose, this banger smells like the colour green, with resin and pine in spades, plus background hints of dank stonefruit. Strap yourself in and take a sip. Straight up the body and mouthfeel takes over, big, sticky and mouthcoating in all the right ways. The hops are bringing crazy amounts of stone fruit, think overipe mango and peach, plus classic resin and pine that come through late in the game. The finishing hop notes are endless endless with stocky marmalade and orange hanging around for an eternity with a lasting and balanced bitterness. The fog has cleared!
