The grapes for Block 2 Cabernet were grown by us to organic practices at the Wild Dog Vineyard in Warragul South.
Block 2 Cabernet Sauvignon represents the pinnacle of the A.R.C range. These old vines of cabernet sauvignon, planted in 1976 are some of the oldest vine materiel in Gippsland. These low yielding vines produce a wine of great depth, complexity and concentration. picked late in the season to allow maximum ripening, while regaining it’s natural acidity. the wine was aged in a single Austrian oak puncheon for 9 months and aged for 9 months in bottle before release. It exhibits aromats of violet and cassis, while on the palate it shows upfront fruit with a complex deep length. A wine to drink now and or cellar well for the next 10 years.
Our wines are wild ferment, unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.
