Introducing Familiar Faces, our adult alternative to the PSL. This imperial stout is made with organic Sugar Pie pumpkins from J.R. Organics in Escondido, a bevy of autumnal spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and ginger), a blend of Brazilian and Colombian coffee roasted by Steady State, and lactose. The addition of lactose contributes to a silky mouthfeel and full body, and its taste is akin to perfectly steamed latte milk. With flavours reminiscent of a freshly baked pumpkin roll, milk chocolate, and warm baking spices, this imperial stout tastes like fall.
