An Epic Hop Tale - Chapter 5: Motueka is an 8% single-hop Double IPA and the bright, zesty reopening of the series. Built as a pure showcase of Motueka, a New Zealand hop bred from a cross with the noble Czech Saaz, it puts one of the Southern Hemisphere's most distinctive varieties front and centre. Single-hop releases like this let one hop tell the whole story, and Motueka has a big one to tell.

Expect a fresh hit of citrus straight away, lime and lemon leading like a squeeze over a cocktail, backed by soft tropical fruit. A clean, gently herbal lift runs through the mid-palate, a nod to Motueka's noble Saaz heritage, before a crisp, dry finish that keeps a beer this size tasting remarkably fresh. At 8% it drinks far lighter than the number suggests, more mojito than heavyweight.

Brewed as a pure expression of Motueka, this single-hop DIPA is all lift and brightness, nothing blended, nothing softened, just one New Zealand hop doing what it does best. The series is back, and this is where it begins.
